We’ve been on the road more than two months now and I’ve been recording footage for the new EXposed video series. Maybe it’s cabin fever, but we wanted to have some fun, so I’ve been running some b-roll and quick promo spots to hold us over until the real series releases this summer.
I plan to post those along with some more serious info spots as I work towards the final collection that is EXposed, and will indeed be serious. But still with a bit of fun. Behold, Dorky Jogger.

OK I’m not a Sprint or Blackberry user, but all work and no play is no fun and this ad is perfect for us photographers. It actually got me thinking though. What crazy cool things could I pull off if I had a stunt groom. Here’s a few images that came to my mind…..
“No, I want the jacket actually in flames. It’s looks hot! Oh and this is HDR. Keep it still”
“That’s perfect. Now when the Chopper flies over, hold the roses in one hand and swing up with the other”
“OK look like the groom is feeling. Scared”

It’s no secret that photographers are sometimes treated as criminals for doing nothing more than taking pictures. This video will make you laugh, as well as make photographer criminalization look pretty stupid.
It’s about Duane Kerzik, who was arrested for taking pictures at Penn station. For their photo contest no less. I’m glad I’m not on the PR team for Amtrak, because it looks like their on a one way rail to stupidity. I could say more, but instead, just watch the video.

The D3X is here. I don’t wanna get into the global politics of it all, but I felt this was worth reporting on. While I’m a Canon guy, I think Nikon makes great systems. Still, the cost of the D3X for what it offers… It does seem a bit spendy.
Frankly though I don’t blame Nikon for this outburst. I think the guy has way bigger problems. Enjoy
