I worked for 8 years to become a Master of photography. But they all said it was just the start. So I kept going. I'm a Shadow Hunter, YouTuber, and host of the Pro Photography Podcast. But mostly, I take photos. I learned from legendary old-school portrait masters like Ken Whitmire and landscape masters like Rodney Lough, and from decades of trial and error.
None of them taught Shadow Hacking. But learning from all of them helped me discover it.
One day I went to my mentor and said. I want a big film camera. He gave me a 4x5 film holder and said.
"Go to the bathroom, no camera."
Somehow...
