I’m Gavin Seim. But if you don’t already know that, I’ll refer you to my bio page. I’m no conventional web designer. In fact I don’t call myself a web designer. I’m a photographer first. I love making great images and great tools to help other photographers. That’s what I do hear at Seim Effects. It just happens that I have an understanding of how to make and manage truly clean powerful WP websites.
WordPress is in my opinion the best platform for building a website on. Better then traditional HTML, better than flash. WP is easily manageable, easy to back up, easy to add features, search engines like it and we can make powerful clean designs with it, for blogs, or complete sites with blogs. That’s enough for me.
If you’re interested in learning to manage your own site I offer WP consultations over the phone, the web, or in person (if you can come to me or if you want to being me to you). Below is a list of my core competencies in WP. Just like with my photo consultations, I’m flexible in that you can hire me for any amount of hours that you need help with your WP needs. You’ll get honest answers and results for the time spent.
Consultations cost $100 per hour for now. Just add quantity of hours you need below. Once purchased you’ll get emailed instructions. If you need a larger training block (such as a full day) or are a corporate entity/private group that needs a specific digital workshop, you can also contact me about special training events nearly anywhere in the world.

Full WP Site Design. I also offer some full website and blog designs for people that like my style. I make clean, functional sites. You can see the current lineup of sites I’ve built on my homepage. I designed them all in WP. The way I prefer to build your site is a little different than most designers. I can go old school and just do it, but I encourage people to be a part of the process. I’ll consult you along the way so when we’re done you can upgrade and mange it yourself going forward.
