Canon fans may soon rejoice. It looks like the upgrade of the very popular Canon 30D, the Canon 40D that we’ve been waiting for is near at hand. According to a post on PhotographyBlog.com, The Camera & Imaging Products Association (CIPA) has listed the the Canon 40D on it’s PictBridge-certified product list page. Now bear in mind that this is a rumor, but it stands to reason that the 40D will grace our camera bags eventually, and why not sooner rather than later.
So what are you waiting for? Start spreading the rumor, and share the joy. Just remember that there has been no official announcement yet. If your a Nikon fan you may weep now, but stay tune and we’ll keep you up to date on the latest happenings.

With so many application in the Adobe Creative Suite, and since we wanted to cover all of them I’ve put together a special episode entirely on CS3. If you don’t like the shows that get down to details on software than you may want to skip this one. The Adobe Lightroom version 1.1 update just came out. Rather the the daily bore of behind the scenes enhancements that usually come with an update like this, Adobe has added some WOW into the mix with some great new features, including easy to manage catalogs, better presets organization and…. The facts are not yet in, but with D3 rumors floating in the winds, it seems that Engadget recently got some information from an newspaper editor, who got his information from an unspecified source, that Nikon is preparing a camera that will put Canon to Shame.
Now us Canon fans don’t expect Canon to be blown away anytime soon, but we’ll let you be the judge for now, and if this thing really comes out, then we’ll all know. Hopefully more details will emerge later this month so stay tuned. Click here for the engadget post
