With so many application in the Adobe Creative Suite, and since we wanted to cover all of them I’ve put together a special episode entirely on CS3. If you don’t like the shows that get down to details on software than you may want to skip this one. If however your eager mind wants to know more about Creative Suite Design, and Web editions then this is the place to be. You’ll also find that the Photoshop review (which is the first one) is the most in depth, so if your just a PS user you can simply listen to that part. Also post you comments about your thoughts on the new Creative Suite Products, and let Adobe hear what you have to say.

Knowing that it can be a hassle to muddle through all the new choices in the Creative suite I’ve outlined the primary programs that each includes. All suites include the new Adobe Bridge. Programs in todays review are all from either the Web, or Design editions of CS3, and include Photoshop, Photoshop Extended, In Design, Illustrator, Acrobat Professional, Dreamweaver, Flash Professional, Fireworks, and Contribute. So for those of you who caught the latest show, PPS #31, I spoke about a multi-touch sensing display. So the following is a youtube video showing the technology.. While you are watching this demo …. think about what you would be able to do with photoshop and lightroom… also what do you think this type of technology would do for your own work flow????

Until Next Time,

This was listed in the show notes before, but since it was brought up again on PPS #29 (HDR Part1) I decided to throw it into a post of it’s own.

Visual razor is a simple Photoshop action that works great on single photo’s, or using the batch command. This will likely be included in my up and coming action sets, but now’s your chance to download it for free. It’s a general sharpener/enhancer action that works well on nearly any photo. Apply it before doing other effects to save time by starting out with an image that POPS!

To use it just open Photoshop, and double click on the action file to open it. Then run it on your photo’s by pressing play, or use File/Batch to run the action on a whole folder of images.

There is also Visual Razor Version2. You can get it free at Seim Effects.

If I remeber correctly the most recent episode was focusing on how to get sharp photos. I ran across a few ways to sharpen your photos and found them quite useful, so I ended up creating three photoshop actions. I thought I would pass them along to the Pro Photo Show audience. They will also be available for the next issue of my podcast/magcast as well a few more.

Sharpening Actions (General, Landscape, People)
